does a child know everything
Hi every one, I am new here, this is my first post, I live in India, Tumkur ( Which is near Bangalore).
I have a feeling that Each one of us human beings Knew every thing thats required by us to live on this planet, (when) as a child
I am of the impression that each child has insurmountable knowledge, (Proved by scientist as DNA), which needs to be prodded and will start to flow.
therefore, The child's knowledge, will be constrained
from the fact that its prodder or the one who prods, who determines the amount the child should know.

Fida, I think this is a really beautiful concept. In some trainings that I've been to, they told us that the latin root of the word, EDUCATE, actually means to draw out. This is very different than what most of us think of. We think to educate is to fill up the brain. Then we have to push and prod to get the answers we want.
I've found that the child will find a way of learning or being exposed to what they are ready for. But that capacity is there from the beginning
